We are seeking a New Musical Director

In April 2025, Laurence Williams, our current MD, will step down as Director of Children’s Voices.

Therefore, Children's Voices of Enfield, is seeking a new Music Director to continue making a vital difference to the music education in North East London through singing. We are a non-audition mixed gender set of two choirs for 5-8 yr olds and 9-16 yr olds. You will be responsible for conducting both choirs, and for the artistic vision of the group.

We are a charity, founded in 1994, and run lovingly for 24 years by the previous founders. After a four year stint with our current director, Laurence Williams, the choir has been rebranded and is thriving. Over the past two months, we have held a large outreach project in schools Enfield to bring music to more children and to recruit more members.
You will be supported by a volunteer pianist, a musical assistant and a board of trustees.

The choir operates out of Palmers Green United Reformed Church (N13 4AL) - a 15 minute train ride from Finsbury Park.
