Our Partnerships
Enfield COUNCIL
As an organisation based in the London Borough of Enfield, we are keen to foster links with the Council.
Recent initiative of the Residents Priority Fund allowed us to commission new work from Dr John Rutter CBE called London Town (six songs about London). The scores of this music and CD recordings were sent to every Primary and Secondary School in the Borough.
We are also delighted to welcome the Mayor of Enfield to our concerts as well as sending invitations to the local MPs.
RSA Trust
The Royal Small Arms (RSA) Trust is a charity funded by surpluses created by RSA Island Village Ltd in Enfield Lock.
For many years, the RSA have supported our Choir both financially and by attending our concerts. Thanks to the RSA we have in the past, been able to employ a part time secretary to ensure the smooth running of the Choir.
The Jack Petchey Foundation
The Jack Petchey Foundation was set up to inspire and motivate young people across London by providing exciting projects for them to get involved in. They also recognize outstanding achievements by awarding them for their hard work and positive impact on their community.
Each term we nominate one of our choristers to receive the Achievement Award and £250 to be used for various Choir projects. In addition to this, there is also an Annual Leader Award of up to £750 for a Choir leader selected by Choristers and staff.
The dugdale centre
The Dugdale Centre is conveniently situated in the heart of Enfield Town and is a very well known venue for Arts and Performances in North London.
We appear there each year with our two Christmas Concerts in the first weekend of December as well as performing a Cabaret afternoon at the beginning of summer term.
We would like to thank all Dugdale staff for their help and for making our performances there such a pleasure.
